Fun and confident bread-making


In the past couple of months, I have done two of Food Sorcery's wide range of courses. Both involved bread making and, although quite different. both were brilliant! I started with the Flatbread course, run by the supportive and empathic Jason. There were only four of us, and it was clear that a lot of work had been carried out to make the kitchen covid-secure. During the half day, we made four different flatbreads, with a distinctly Eastern/Middle-Eastern feel. The session was quite fast paced, but the team had prepped everything for us, so all we had to do was watch, copy and cook! The emphasis was on having fun whilst acquiring new skills, and I felt really supported. You could do this course as a novice and really enjoy it, acquiring a lot of confidence on the way. The second course I did was sourdough bread making. There were eight of us on the course, and several of us had been making sourdough, with various degrees of success - and failure - through lockdown. Dave had clearly s

Big cook little cook fun


Really fun cooking class ending with a delicious meal! My 12 year old loved it and tried all sorts of things she wouldn't normally eat because she'd cooked it herself. Jason explained everything very clearly and threw in lots of interesting facts as we cooked.
