About Us... Welcome to Derbyshire Reclamation!
We are suppliers and buyers of all reclamation and architectural salvage.

Based in the historic town of Buxton in Derbyshire, we are a family business owned by Melissa Downhill. At Derbyshire Reclamation, we are passionate about anything and everything old - if it can be used again and resold, its in our yard!

More Information... We deal in all types of reclamation and salvage. Our forthcoming pages will showcase some of the items we have for sale. All our stock is sourced from work we are undertaking, sales from the general public and even from our metal recycling yard where some of it arrives as rubbish - restored and revamped, it's given a new life!

We always undertake any demolition very sympathetically. Our company goal is to salvage as much as possible, to reduce wastage, and give others the opportunity to reuse these fantastic, well made and sometimes rare materials. They've survived, sometimes, hundreds of years. If its character you want then buying from our reclamation yard is just what you are looking for!

We hold all the relevent licences, environmental exemptions and we are fully insured so you can be confident when using Derbyshire Reclamation.

We have various different types of stone for sale. They are all available for viewing and can be bought is large (tons) or small quantities.

We buy and sell Architectural Salvage. This ranges from Chimney Pots, Antique Architectural Stone Carvings, Yorkstone Flags and Tiles to Cast Iron Balconies, Baths and Garden Ornaments. To enquire about our stock please contact us for more information.

Our demolition work is dedicated to reducing waste. Our professional and cautious approach means most of the materials can be reused by other projects. Derbyshire holds a vast heritage and salvaging as much material as possible is important to sustaining the authenticity of our area.
