Tania Leigh PhD MBPsS UKCP Accredited My personal professional philosophy is based on my strong belief that we can change our lives to a better quality due to self-actualisation, constant development and personal responsibility and, through psychotherapy, can achieve a good balance between what we want and what we can/should/have to do to get what we want: health, relationship, love, success, self-esteem, etc.

I have over 15 years experience of Psychotherapy and Counselling for individuals, couples and groups of people. The range of issues I work with includes: relationship problems, infertility, anxiety, phobias, stress-related conditions of health and psychosomatic problems, depression, anger, trauma, low self-esteem etc. My experience of cross-cultural phenomenon in people's social and personal lives provokes a new professional interest in problems, such as immigration adaptation processes and culture differences in international marriage relationships. The practical application of my PhD research was a Training Course for increasing work-related stress resistance, which I developed basically from my psychotherapeutic experience.

I am a Committee member of the North West of England of the British Psychological Society, and currently hold the role of Communications officer. I also work as the Eastern Europe coordinator-psychologist and counsellor for Russian speaking patients of IVF Clinics in England and Italy. I continue my professional development and supervision in the Manchester Gestalt Centre (MGC) and I am a lecturer of the School of Life Resources in Odessa (Ukraine). I also worked as a volunteer with the NHS and local community in Derbyshire.
