Welcome from the head Deciding on your child’s school is one of the most difficult and influential decisions that a parent can make. It is a decision for their future and I believe that at Pownall Hall School we deliver the best rounded education necessary to ensure that each child fulfils their potential.

The school delivers a first rate education with our excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff. Pownall Hall can offer a broad and balanced curriculum where Art, Music, Drama and Sport all play a prominent role. Whilst recognizing the importance of teaching the core subjects to a very high standard, we believe in the development of the whole child so that each and every boy and girl can discover and develop their talents reaching their full potential under our guidance

Our staff also provide a high level of pastoral care, ensuring the happiness of the child is maintained throughout their primary education. The focus of the school is very much on the individual child, recognising their talents and interests, and working with parents to release this potential. Our recent ISI inspection report reinforced this and rated us as Outstanding overall. Teaching and Learning, Pupil Progress, Attitudes to Work, Leadership and Management were all found to be excellent.
