We had a total bathroom replacement in November 2022 after waiting 3 months when we were given start dates and then they were cancelled. He hadn't listened to what we wanted in regards to style of shower, heated towel rail and the washbasin was not the one chosen. said washbasin had a flaw under the glaze which Richard has tried to rectify but we are still waiting a replacement which I doubt we will get now. In January this year, 2024, the shower tray cracked. I contacted Richard and after much deliberation on his part, he offered a new tray at trade price. I had been in touch with Citizens advice who had informed me that under the Consumer Rights act 2015 he was responsible for all repairs for 6 years from fitting. When I informed him of this he ceased communication and did not reply to further emails. We are now having to pay a third party to replace the shower tray as my husband, who is disabled is really struggling without a shower. He has no business ethics or personal morals.
Richard Stubbs is a Con Man
Richard Stubbs is a con artist! We come on board as a contractor, he took the materials money from the customer but didn't purchase the goods! 3 of them have gone to trading standards! He's been doing this for years from Idesign days to peak kitchens and bathrooms to now 'thebathroomdoctor' don't trust this man or the woman he works with 'louise Walsh' and his business partner Denise! All in on the scam there's a Facebook group about Richard and his companies and there is a huge trading standards case against him! Ps after he robbed us and our customers with £24k worth of deposits he then went out to put a deposit down on his brand new Audi RS5! He's a scum bag!
