Mental Health: Medium / Long Term High Dependency Rehabilitation

Based upon a person-centred approach, we offer a choice of treatment solutions and services for adults and older people who require active rehabilitation. The primary aim of this service is to improve the recovery of our service user group who have complex mental or psychological disorders and severely challenging behaviour.

We have a common goal at the John Munroe Group, which is to maximise the individual's potential and their ability to function, whilst maintaining their quality of life, ensuring all this is achieved within a safe and secure environment.

A very brief overview of admission criteria:

Functional illnesses: Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar Disorders, Psychological Disorders, History of Complex Psychological and Emotional Trauma, Mild to Moderate Learning Disability, Factitious Disorders etc.

Organic illnesses: Alzheimer's/Vascular Dementias, Frontal Lobe Dementia, Lewy Body Dementia, Huntington's Disease, Korsakoffs Syndrome etc.

Co-morbid complex physical conditions: Diabetes, Arthritis, COPD and Chest Infections, Chronic Liver Disease, Hep B and C, ABI, etc.
